why becoming?

…because we are all on journey, continually becoming and growing and living our lives shaped by the things we value most and by the beliefs we hold dear. God created us to really live - to know life to the fullest.

Life to the fullest is seen ultimately in one person - Jesus. He lived full - calling all of us to really live, dying so that we could. Following Him daily allows us to begin to value what He values and believe what He believes. One thing is for sure - He highly values love…giving away all of who we are for all of the people we encounter in our daily.

The reason I have to live becoming is because I am so self-absorbed that I live only for me, valuing only me, believing in only me. I have to become absorbed with Him - so, He is shaping me and growing me in Him to become more and more like Him, to value more and more what He values, and to live more and more like He lived and like He lives.
